Our Purpose

The Purpose of Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County shall be to promote and improve the welfare of children, with special interest to foster, kinship, guardianship, and adoptive children in Larimer County, Colorado.

  • Provide education, training and support for foster, kinship, guardianship and adoptive parents and support staff enabling them to understand and meet the physical, psychological and emotional needs of children in their care.

  • Promote communication between foster parents, parents of children in foster care and agency personnel, so each may better understand the others role in the placement of foster children and the associated issues.
